Are you in charge of ordering custom t-shirts or custom apparel for a group or team? CreateMyTee Group Ordering makes your job incredibly easy by allowing group members to enter their own selections and, optionally, pay for their own portion of the order.

All you have to do is work one-on-one with a CreateMyTee professional artist to create your t-shirt or apparel design. Visit the CreateMyTee Design Gallery to find design inspiration for your group!

Finally, invite friends, teammates or co-workers to join your order via a simple link to CreateMyTee.com. When everybody has entered their information, send your order to print!

How Group Ordering Works

  1. Select Your Apparel
    Explore the CreateMyTee.com catalog to find the perfect apparel for your group. Let us know if you don't see what you're looking for - we have access to much more!
  2. Place Your Order
    After selecting your apparel, get an instant quote, then click Start My Order. The checkout sequence will allow you to describe your design idea and submit your order to CreateMyTee.com.
  3. Perfect Your Design
    On EVERY order, you work 1-on-1 with one of our professional artists via the CreateMyTee.com Artwork Center. We do all the work, you just provide feedback and suggestions until you're 110% satisfied!
  4. Make It A Group Order
    Once you approve your artwork, you can turn your order into a Group Order with 2 simple steps. You'll be given a link that you can send to anyone to invite them to join your order.
  5. Send It To Print
    Once your Group Ordering deadline passes, you may check out and send your order to print!
  6. Hand 'Em Out
    When your order ship, you'll receive an e-mail with tracking information. And under the Group Ordering settings for your order, you can print off the order breakdown by participant, making distribution easy!

Group Ordering FAQ

  1. How do I start a Group Order?

    Simply place a normal order as described in How Group Ordering Works (to your left). Once you approve your order's artwork, you'll have the option to turn the order into a Group Order and invite others to participate.

  2. Who is the Order Organizer?

    The Order Organizer is the person who submits the initial CreateMyTee.com order, approves the artwork, sets the Group Ordering deadline and invites others to participate. After the ordering deadline passes, the Order Organizer is responsible for finalizing the order and sending it to print.

Participants & Security

  1. How do people join my Group Order?

    Once you've finished the Group Order setup process, you'll be provided a link that people can visit to join your Group Order. Or you can send people to https://www.CreateMyTee.com/JoinOrder/ and provide them your Order # and Password (if you set one). From there, they can locate the order, then join by creating an account or signing into an existing account. As soon as they join, they'll have a link to enter their selections.

  2. Who can participate in my Group Order?

    Anyone! Just provide them the Join Order Link and they may create a CreateMyTee.com account or sign into their existing account to join your order and enter their selections.

  3. Can I password protect my Group Order?

    Yes! During Group Order setup, you may enter a password that participants must enter to join.

  4. Can I see what everyone has ordered?

    Yes! At anytime, visit My Account and click "Group Ordering" for your order. You can see the total, balance and a link to view the order for each participant. In addition there is a link to view the entire order breakdown by participant, which can be used during distribution of items.

  5. Can I send a message to all participants?

    Yes! At anytime, visit My Account and click "Group Ordering" for your order. There is a form allowing you to easily send a message to all participants. This is great for letting them know when the order has arrived and how to pick up their selections.

Pricing

  1. How are Group Order items priced?

    During Group Order setup, you'll select one of two pricing methods for each item in the order:

    • Estimated Quantities: Provide the estimated minimum and maximum quantity you expect your group to order. Based on those estimates, we'll provide an estimated price range participants will see when entering their selections. NOTE: The final price of the item will be based on the final quantity ordered by the group. We highly recommend making a conservative minimum quantity estimate so that participants are not surprised by a higher final price.
    • Custom Pricing: This method allows you to set an exact, custom price that participants will pay for each item. The actual price of the item will be based on the final quantity ordered by the group. If the actual price is less than the custom price, we'll send the Order Organizer a check for the profit. If the actual price is more than the custom price, the Order Organizer will be responsible for paying the difference. This feature allows the Order Organizer to use CreateMyTee.com as a fundraiser or subsidy for your group!
  2. Can I use CreateMyTee.com Group Ordering as a fundraiser?

    Yes! During Group Order setup, just select Custom Pricing for each item (as described "How are Group Order items priced?") and set the custom price higher than the expected per item price. After the order closes, we'll send you a check for the profit!

  3. Can I use CreateMyTee Group Ordering as a subsidy for my group?

    Yes! During Group Order setup, just select Custom Pricing for each item (as described "How are Group Order items priced?") and set the custom price lower than the expected per item price. Your participants will pay the price you set. When you check out, you'll pay the difference between the participant price and the actual price. This is great for schools or teams that can afford part of the cost of an order, but not the entire cost of the order.

Payment

  1. Who pays for the Group Order?

    During Group Order setup, you may select one of two payment methods:

    • Collective: Select this method if you will pay for the entire order after everyone enters their selections.
    • Individual: Select this method if you would like everyone to enter their own payment information when entering their selections. During check out, each participant's form of payment will be processed. They will receive an e-mail receipt or failure notice. There is an additional charge of $.25/Item due to the processing fees incurred in handling payment separately for each individual.
  2. What payment methods are available?

    CreateMyTee.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and eCheck (Bank Account payment) on all orders, for both the Order Organizer and participants. Additionally, the Order Organizer has the option to request CreateMyTee Credit (see next question).

  3. Can my organization pay via Purchase Order, NET 15 or NET 30?

    Yes! CreateMyTee understands some organizations prefer to pay via terms. During checkout or order finalization, the Order Organizer may request to pay via CreateMyTee Credit. Once requested, we will review your information as quickly as possible and make a decision. If you are not approved, you will be required to pay for the order in full before we proceed any further. CreateMyTee Credit is NOT available to order participants, just the Order Organizer.

Shipping

  1. What does shipping cost?

    Free ground shipping is included with each order. All shipments are shipped via UPS. You do, however, have the option to choose expedited shipping for an additional price. As the Order Organizer, you'll be responsible for paying any expedited shipping costs.

  2. When are orders expected to ship?

    The turnaround time for each order varies. This is because orders consist of three phases: 1) Shirt Design 2) Printing and 3) Shipping.

    SHIRT DESIGN occurs first and the duration depends on how many times you go back and forth with your artist to ensure that the final design is PERFECT. You will receive your first proof within one business day. Our fastest recorded order only took 17 minutes from the time the customer submitted the order to design approval!

    PRINTING does allow for us to provide exact turnarounds. After your Group Order deadline passes and you check out, your order will ship in 5 business days. Highly complex orders or orders with unique garments may require additional printing days, which your Shirt Specialist will immediately share with you.

    SHIPPING depends on your location. You may view our Standard Shipping Delivery Time Map to estimate the number of transit days for your order. As always, our Shirt Specialists will work with you to make sure you have your custom apparel on time.

    National Holidays: CreateMyTee does not ship on the following national holidays:

    • New Years Eve
    • New Years Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving
    • Day after Thanksgiving
    • Christmas Eve
    • Christmas Day
  3. How long does shipping take?

    Standard shipping takes 1-5 days, depending on your ship to address. See our Standard Shipping Delivery Time Map for an estimate of transit time once your order is shipped.

  4. Do we offer rush orders?

    We treat every order as a rush order. Thus, we do not offer rush orders. We can however expedite shipping for an additional cost.

  5. Do we ship to Canada?

    Yes, but via ground only. It is our experience that due to Customs clearance ground shipments are just as fast as Overnight shipments.

  6. Do we ship internationally?

    No, someday though. We do ship to Canada, however. See above answer.
